Our student stories
At Holy Cross, we act in the interest of your child’s broader success – aiming for academic success in school, but also preparing them for their future ahead. We have a long history of students who plant their seeds of success with us, then grow into the promising individuals of the next generation.

Amber D., current 6th grade parent
Amber’s daughter transferred to Holy Cross in the 2021-22 school year after hearing positive feedback from other families. “The staff is absolutely amazing!!! Hands down the entire experience has been positive. Holy Cross is focused on educating kids in Science, Math, and English. Along with Christian values, I feel there are less distractions to take away from kids’ learning. During Christmas break our daughter asked when it was time to go back to school!! What more could a parent ask! Great school and community.”

Heather C, current 4th and Kindergarten parent
Heather’s son transferred to Holy Cross during the 2021-22 school year. “We realized that we wanted a better education for our kids. We prefer the values which are taught in a Catholic education as well as the curriculum. Additionally, “we were impressed by the school’s ability to remain open for the students to attend in-person during the pandemic, which was important to us. Our son had a great first year experience in 3rd grade. We really like the wonderful, supportive teachers, administrators and staff. This year, we decided to enroll our younger son in kindergarten.”
“Holy Cross has had a wonderful impact on both of our children and our family. Both kids have made new friends and have been exposed to regular religion class which covers so much more than they would have learned had they stayed in public school. I also feel that Holy Cross is instilling a good work ethic and a healthy relationship with God in a fun learning environment with a challenging curriculum.”

Brian F., current 4th, 2nd, and Pre-K parent
We decided to send our children to Holy Cross for the structure of the curriculum and the parallel values we share as a family to the Catholic Church and Catholic education. “Our children are excelling in the classroom, making friends, and beginning their journey of knowing God. They have been challenged in a good way, in the classroom that will benefit them as they advance through school. We enjoy the family feel of the school. We have all met and made new friends while constantly being impressed with the education our children are receiving. The values that are being enforced in them each day are important to us.”

Aidan M., 2014 Graduate. Currently employed as an Operations Analyst
Important life skills; such as looking presentable, time management and treating others with respect were just a few of the things that Aidan learned from his time at Holy Cross. However, he recalls that the most useful skill learned was how to be an effective listener. “Catholic school taught me that rules are meant to be followed. It greatly prepared me for life in high school. I truly felt that we were already operating on a high school level, even academically speaking when looking at Honors courses offered at Holy Cross.”
“My favorite memory was playing sports representing our school. I played both baseball and basketball for Saint Eleanor’s, and was always surrounded by great teammates and coaches. There was nothing better than going to school knowing you had a big game representing that same school you love later in the day.”

Nik M., alumni parent
Nik chose Holy Cross to allow her children to learn in an environment that was rooted in faith. “Daily exposure to the Catholic faith created a strong moral foundation for my children” she added.
Sense of community is paramount at Holy Cross. Nik went on to say: “From the faculty to the families, I feel truly blessed that our whole family was able to share the wonderful memories that Holy Cross provided over our time together. The leadership of the school is outstanding! Both of my children loved their experiences and made the best and lifelong friends at Holy Cross.”
Holy Cross takes pride in preparing students for higher education. “Holy Cross taught my children to manage a challenging academic workload so they could excel in high school and handle Honors and AP classes. Both of my children were able to get into their college of choice and I am forever grateful for the foundation that Holy Cross provided them.”
