Yes, our Kindergarten is a full-day program. Kindergarten meets the same time as the rest of the school, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. After-school care is also available for our Kindergarten students.
The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania uses your child’s age as of September 1, as their basis to determine when a student can enroll in Kindergarten. Consequently, if your child turns 5 on or before September 1, he or she is eligible to enroll in Kindergarten. The same date is used for our Pre-K program. If a child turns 4 on or before September 1, he or she is eligible to enroll in our 4 year old Pre-K program.
Class size varies based on enrollment in each grade, but the average class size is approximately 20 students for our primary grades and 25 students for our junior high grades.

All children are welcome! While the Catholic faith is an integral part of school life, a number of our school students are not Catholic.

Bus transportation to and from Holy Cross Regional Catholic School for students in Kindergarten through grade 8 is provided by your local public school district. Any district within 10 miles of our school is required to provide transportation. Feel free to call our school office or your school district’s transportation coordinator for details. Holy Cross Regional Catholic School offers an after-school program called "CARES" for parents who need to arrange care for their children after school. This is available for a modest fee for all full-day students and is provided after school dismissal until 6 p.m.
