How does Continuous Enrollment work?
We are asking parents to read the Terms and Conditions of the Continuous Enrollment Agreement and indicate their agreement with their electronic signature. Next year and every year thereafter, parents will not need to do or sign anything. A communication will be sent by the Main Office reminding families of Continuous Enrollment and the Opt-Out process. The only time, a parent will need to complete paperwork is, if for personal reasons, the students will not be returning to school, for instance, if a family is moving. The Opt-Out form to notify the school can be found on our website. Most of our families will have the convenience of ignoring this message and doing absolutely nothing. It will be that simple.
What is the procedure for letting HCRC know that a student will not be re-registering for upcoming school year?
Parents are asked to let the school know as soon as possible that the student will NOT be re-registering by completing the Opt- Out form. Although we understand that personal circumstances may be unexpected, please be aware that opting-out will no longer guarantee a student's seat at Holy Cross Regional Catholic School. If you have any concerns, please contact Theresa Healy, Principal, at thealy.@hcrc.school.
Is there a deadline to sign up for Continuous Enrollment? Yes, the parents’ Agreement is to be submitted to the school as part of the required documents in order to complete your registration.
What is the re-registration fee for the 2022-23 school year? The re-registration fee for 2022-23 school year is $125.00 per student. This fee helps to offset the cost of Religion textbooks and standardized testing materials which cannot be purchased through government funding. The re-registration fee will be applied throuh FACTS on February 15, 2022. Any billing concerns related to this fee can be addressed with Linda Coyne, Financial Director at lcoyne@steleanor.com.
How will I be notified what the tuition is going to be for future years? Tuition rates for the following school year are determined by the School Board by mid-January. Tuition rates will be communicated by email and posted on the school’s website.
When can I apply for tuition assistance? Financial aid applications are administered through an online FACTS Grant & Aid starting in October or November of each year. There is an application fee charged by FACTS for processing and verifying an application for aid. The deadline for applications is
March 31, 2022.
I will be applying for tuition assistance, what if I do not know what my tuition will be? Since financial aid grants are awarded in the summer months, all families are required to continue to make the same monthly tuition payment that you have been making for the current school year. Once the school is made aware of the financial aid grants that students will be receiving, the families’ monthly tuition payments will be corrected accordingly.
What do I need to do if I am enrolling a sibling of a current student? If a current school family is enrolling a new sibling, the parent is to complete an application online for that child. Click here for New Sibling Registration Form. The registration fee for both your new student and current student(s), will be applied through FACTS.
I have questions who can I contact? Questions regarding Continuous Enrollment can be emailed to Susan Mollahan, Advancement Director, at smollahan@hcrc.school. If you have a question regarding your tuition or billing contact Linda Coyne, lcoyne@steleanor.com.
