Holy Cross Regional receives Archdiocese of Philadelphia Distinguished Instruction Award for 2024

For the third year in a row, the Archdiocese of Philadelphia Office of Catholic Education has named Holy Cross Regional Catholic School as one of the recipients of this year’s Archdiocesan Schools of Distinguished Instruction for both Growth and Potential.

Based on standardized testing data, candidates are determined using two specific criteria:

Growth: By comparing the normal curve equivalent (NCE) score from this year’s testing to the NCE in the last test the students took, the students gave evidence of expected or greater-than-expected growth. These schools were found to have exceeded 90% or above in all content areas with a rate of potential between 76% and 90%.

Exceeding Potential: Analyzing the data from the ability testing (InView) and the achievement testing (Terra Nova), these schools were found to have 90% of the classes meeting or exceeding their potential in all content areas at every level tested as well as a 76-90% growth rate in all content areas at all grade levels.

We congratulate Holy Cross Regional Catholic School students and faculty for this amazing accomplishment. This achievement speaks volumes to the dedication, hard work, and effort put forth by our entire school community. We are Holy Cross proud to be a Archdiocesan School of Distinguished Instruction.
